Irene Gelfman
Graduate and professor of Secondary and Higher Education in Arts (FFyL - UBA), she completed the Artists Program #11 at UTDT (Criticism and Curatorship). Winner of the first prize in New Curators by La Colección AMALITA and the Argentine Association of Art Critics. She works in curatorship, management, and art criticism. She is the founder and director of Minerva Universos Visuales, an art studio focused on disseminating Art History content to diverse audiences, conducting artist clinics, and advising cultural projects.
She writes texts for various media, publications, and catalogs (Otra Parte, Colección de Artistas, among others). With over seven years of experience in different areas of cultural management, both in the public sector (national and local) and the private sector (foundations and NGOs), she coordinates and produces content. She has also curated programming for various festivals, fairs, and international events where Argentina was the guest country in areas such as theater, visual arts, and music. She has produced large-scale events, developed, and coordinated a grant program to promote Argentine artists abroad (APEX - Ministry of Culture), and served as a strategic advisor for the Barrios Creativos program.
