Statement
Esviel Jeffers’ chimerical machines speak with the playful and spirited humor so characteristic of his island heritage about the almost delirious leap of faith involved in migrating from one country to another in a world fractured by sectarian hatred and walled borders. The exhibition centers on the first three-dimensional version of the fantastic machines Jeffers has created and also includes a selection of sketches, drafts, and process drawings made with pencil, pen, and marker.
Additional information
