Raul Vasquez Saez
Bio
Born in the town of Villa de Los Santos on February 6, 1954, he received a scholarship from the Institute for the Training of Human Resources (IFARHU). His works are represented in the "Permanent Hall of Panamanian Art History" at the Panamanian National Institute; in the "National Gallery of Contemporary Art" at the Costa Rican Art Museum (Costa Rica); in the Visual Art Record of Art Lucyan Al Cardio (Naples, Italy); and at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Panama.
He has offered poetry recitals, lectures, and seminar-workshops in Costa Rica and Panama. He has published two books: "Cerrojo profundo" and "En tu Piel Anónima". He won the National Painting Prize and participated in National Art Auctions.

Statement
Raúl Vásquez Sáez's practice is characterized by an exploration of color and texture as means to evoke emotions and memories. Through an intuitive painting language, his works reveal a deep connection to the sensory and visceral, inviting the viewer into an immersive and reflective experience.
