Enrique Campuzano
Bio
Enrique Santos Campuzano Araya (Iquique, Chile, 1948) is a self-taught painter with a background in various artistic disciplines. His career began in theater, designing sets from 1963 to 1969. Although he worked in banking, he never abandoned his artistic vocation, studying painting history, anatomy, and composition. In 1978, under the guidance of painter Ladislao Cheney, he committed fully to painting. In 1984, he attended the Critical Painting Workshop with José Balmes and refined his study of the human form in Santiago.
