Statement

Rubén Lozano constructs images that contain and reflect introspective aspects of himself, others, and the environment he inhabits. His work explores a range that includes poetry, conflicted situations, humor, irony, and his immediate surroundings, as well as his relationship with dwelling and with personal or impersonal connections. His practice is infused with a wide range of emotions that aim to create dialogue with the viewer, offering a space that is limited in scale but resonant in impact. Lozano seeks to shape a mutable identity, exploring how artistic expressions illuminate the complexity of human experience.
